Shelby Gloves Style No. 5227 & 5228

• Heavy Weight, Fire Retardant, Heat Resistant, 3.50 to 4.0 oz., Midnight Blue Koala Tanned, Cowhide. Koala Tanned leather will remain soft after repeated soakings.
• 8 oz. S.E.F. Modacrylic Fleece Laminated to Gore RT7100 Glove Barrier Fabric
• Gore (PTFE) RT7100 Glove Barrier Fabric.
• Nomex 10.5 oz per yard, Double ply, 4” Wristlet. Wristlet sewn to liner, and then sewn separately to the glove shell. Not required on #5228.
• 3” x 3 1⁄2” Round Leather Pull, Sewn to Wristlet & Glove Body
• Sewn with high burst Strength Kevlar (30/5) lock stitch, 8-10 stitches per inch.
• 1⁄4” fire retardant, heat resistant split cowhide hanger loop.
• Glove is constructed, tested and labeled in accordance with the NFPA Standard on Protective Ensemble for Structural Fire Fighting, NFPA 1971-2013 Edition.
